While we can't wait to welcome you back, we appreciate not everyone will be ready to return.

All members need to reactivate their membership before using our facilities. You can only do this online and won't be able to do it at the leisure centre.

Reactivating your membership

All membership fees remain suspended, which will stay in place until either:

  • you reactivate your membership
  • we reopen all facilities and services

Before you return to any of our leisure centres, you must reactivate your membership.

You can do this by completing our reactivation form. Once submitted, we'll be in touch to let you know we have restarted your Direct Debit.

Reactivating an annual membership

If you pay for an annual membership, please contact your local leisure centre once open. They will be able to extend your membership to account for all months you were unable to attend.

Joining as a new member

If you are not a member and wish to join, you can see our membership options.

New members can access any of our gyms, all of which are now reopen. 

You will need a GO Gateshead card to book any activity, including accessing the gym.

Your GO Gateshead card will be available to collect from any open leisure centre.

Other memberships

We have extended access for members of the Athlete Support Scheme. It will now run until Saturday 31 October 2020.
