We have introduced new health and safety measures to help keep you safe. Please familiarise yourself with these new measures.
Please be patient and respectful of staff and other leisure centre users. We expect members to follow all staff instructions on health and safety procedures.
Wearing face coverings
Face coverings are required while you're moving around our leisure centres. Unless you're exempt, you will be refused entry into our buildings if you do not wear a face covering.
You do not need to wear one while using our gyms, swimming pools or in our fitness studios.
We have introduced a strict one-way system in all our buildings. We have clearly marked routes, and we ask you to follow them at all times.
Although there are changing rooms and lockers available for fitness class and gym users, we ask that you arrive ready to train and shower and change at home where possible.
Changing facilities for swimmers are limited. Check what to expect when Visiting our swimming pools.
Increased cleaning regimes
Hand sanitiser stations and cleaning materials will be available at various locations. You can use these to sanitise your hands and equipment after use.
We have increased our cleaning regime at each centre. It includes thorough cleaning at the start and end of each day, as well as between sessions.
Avoiding direct communication
We encourage you to carry out all communication before you get to the leisure centre. You can do this by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you must speak with staff on-site, you should visit the reception area. To protect staff and members, we have installed Perspex shields at our receptions.
No use of cafes or water fountains
Cafes and water fountains will be unavailable.
You should bring your own refreshments, including plenty of water.
Vending machines will be available for your use.
Changes to operating procedures
We will have signage to remind customers and colleagues about their responsibilities. These include:
- Maintaining a distance of two metres or more from other individuals where possible
- Washing your hands as often as possible with soap and water
- Avoiding contact with your eyes, nose and mouth
- Covering your nose and mouth every time your cough or sneeze.
