What does it involve?

As well as a cardio workout on the bike this session combines an upper body workout on the mat alongside the bike for a cycling workout with a difference. 

Is it for me?

Cycling is an excellent cardio workout to keep your heart and lungs healthy and you can set the resistance to work at your own pace and you can out as much effort into the upper body workout as you like making it suitable for all levels. 

What do I need?

  • comfortable clothing for activity
  • comfortable trainers
  • drink
  • towel

Cyclecise is included in the GO Gateshead membership. You can also come and try it out on a pay-as-you-go basis.
