What does it involve?
Boxercise is a fun, challenging and safe way to tone muscles and burn fat. There's shadow-boxing, skipping, press-ups, sit-ups, hitting bags and jabbing pads - all the things that pro-boxers do to stay fit.
Don't worry, though, there'll be no physical contact. We're all about fun!
Our qualified instructors will guide you through the exercises and provide all the motivation you need, with the aim of improving mental and physical well-being.
Is it for me?
Boxercise is great for all intermediate and regular exercise enthusiasts, male and female. The high-intensity nature of the classes makes it an activity first-time exercisers should build up to.
The benefits of Boxercise include improved concentration, toned body muscles and increased discipline. It's also a fantastic way to relieve stress!

Boxercise is included in the GO Gateshead membership. You can also come and try it out on a pay-as-you-go basis.
