Sport, at a more leisurely pace...
Who said you have to run around in sport? The fun isn't always the pace of it, but the skill and the people you play with. Our walking sports are a brilliant way for men and women to get active without putting too much strain on joints.
Walking as an activity is great for controlling weight, lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke and several cancers. Throw sport into the mix and you have an enjoyable way to exercise and be social.
A few times a week you can come along and play a variety of different games. They're everything you love about sport, just with the pace dial turned down.
If you prefer one game, the beautiful game, we also run weekly walking football sessions. These recapture all finer aspects of football - the skill, the teamwork, the drama - at a more comfortable pace.
