GO Moderate Cardio
What does it involve?
Cardio Blast is all about getting the body moving and the heart pumping. Each class offers a different, but always fun, challenge, combining a range of high-intensity aerobic and body-weight exercises.
They'll probably be lunges and squats, a bit of boxing, not against each other, and running on the spot. We'll leave the finer details to the instructor. They know best.
What we can say, though, is that you'll increase your cardiovascular fitness, burn calories and improve your general well-being. And you'll have an... er, blast, doing so!
Is it for me?
Cardio Blast involves you being active for a full hour. It's great fun, in an inclusive environment, but you'll certainly know you've been in a fitness class afterwards!
We've rated it as GO Moderate, which means it's best suited for intermediate and regular exercisers.
If you enjoy being active amongst friends in a friendly, social environment, Cardio Blast is a great class to join.
What do I need?

Cyclecise is included in the GO Gateshead membership. You can also come and try it out on a pay-as-you-go basis.
