Work it in a circuit...
GO Moderate Strength/Conditioning
What does it involve?
Rig Fit classes work different muscle groups across various exercise stations around the gym to help you increase strength and improve overall health. For half-an-hour, you'll be pushing, pulling, lifting and squatting - all with the aim of reaching your fitness goals. You'll have the guidance of our expert instructors to help get you through it, at your ideal pace.
Is it for me?
If you're not really big on cardiovascular activity like running or aerobics, Rig Fit classes are great. There's no 'you must lift this much' culture here, just working at a level that suits you to build strength and feel better about yourself.
If you're already in the habit of exercising, you'll feel right at home in this class. If you're looking get active for the first time, try a Light Circuits class first before making the step up to this.
What do I need?
- comfortable clothing for activity
- comfortable trainers
- drink
- towel
Rig Fit is included in the GO Gateshead membership. You can also come and try it out on a pay-as-you-go basis.
