What does it involve?

Metafit is a fast-paced training class designed to increase power, endurance and efficiency. Led by GO Gateshead's trained Metafit coaches, you'll perform a series of different body-weight exercises for a complete workout.

It's 30 minutes of high intensity interval training that kicks your metabolism into overdrive. But you'll burn more calories in this half an hour than you would in a regular one hour workout, so it's worth effort.

Is it for me?

Metafit was developed by a former marine. It's not easy. You'll be pushed to your limits to achieve your long-term fitness goals. If you already exercise regularly and want a new challenge to get you in peak physical shape, give this a go.

Metafit is included in the GO Gateshead membership. You can also come and try it out on a pay-as-you-go basis.
