What does it involve?

The GO Gateshead Pilates class builds core strength through a range of mat-based exercises and controlled breathing. Our instructors focus on precise stretches and relaxing breathing techniques to tone muscles and release tension.

You'll come out feeling more mobile, less stressed and whole lot happier. Rolling around on a mat has never been more rewarding.

Is it for me?

Pilates is a low-impact activity that's suitable for everyone. If you can get down on the floor and back up again, you can join in.

If you suffer from back pain, poor posture, arthritis or stress, Pilates is a great activity to try. It's been proven to help with all of those things.

What do I need?

  • comfortable clothing for activity
  • drink
  • towel
  • class is barefoot

Pilates is included in the GO Gateshead Membership. You can come and try it out on a pay-as-you-go basis.
