Clip 'n Climb at Gateshead Leisure Centre is an action-packed climbing experience like no other. Featuring 25 climbing lines across 21 unique challenges, it's perfect for children and adults alike.
Beat the Big Cheese and become King of the Jungle, or scale a Skyscraper on your way to Cloud 9. You'll be solving various puzzles and navigating your way around different shapes, absorbing textures and conquering multiple difficulty levels on your way to the summit 25 feet high.
You can even put gravity to the test by taking a Leap of Faith, or sliding down the infamous Vertical Drop Slide... If you're brave enough!

Each wall throws up a different challenge that can be achieved through planning, analysis and a fair bit of patience. The cafe offers an extensive menu of hot and cold foods and drinks, with snacks, main meals and treats for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're watching the action from a comfortable seat or you're looking to refuel after activity, we'll keep you fully fed and watered.

Is Clip 'n Climb safe?
Clip 'n Climb is a fully harnessed climbing experience, with no climbing experience required. Our automatic belay devices will take the slack as you climb and gently lower you to the ground when you're ready. Before each session you'll receive a safety briefing and harness fitting from our trained instructors. Our team is on-hand throughout the session to ensure you get the most from your experience.
